On a rainy Friday in June 2016 I was diagnosed with HER2 Positive breast cancer, a diagnosis that instantly changed my life forever.
Quite early in my journey I found that medical journals and statistics were not doing me any favours but instead I found comfort in stories told by real people, who were or had been going through a similar experience.
Without having a personal connection to any of my fellow breast cancer warriors that I read about, I sensed a connection and reading their stories gave me a feeling of not being alone in the fight. Their stories have inspired me to share my journey with you all in this blog.
It is not only about me, it is also about my lovely family, and friends who are also impacted.
